I think I make stuff in phases. If you have a baby, try and have it during one of my make-stuff phases.
Kari had a boy and so I made her these:
It is so so so hard to come up with boy embellishments (that I like). These guys have a dog so I went off that. I asked (begged) Karl to draw a silhouette. He is a really good draw-er. So good, that he came back with an exact replica of the dog. Silhouette, schmilhouette, huh? After freaking out because I just wanted a silhouette so I could cut it out of fabric, I put the picture on the t-shirt and it turned out super cute. Even cuter than some fabric silhouette. I like to pretend that that sheep-emu-blob is actually a chenille dog. (That right there is the reason why I needed Karl to draw the silhouette).
Two days after I finished Kari's (baby's) onesies, Cyd had her boy. Another boy. Another challenge. I am sure they would have love one of my chenille blobs but I went with birds. I didn't make up the tie thing, I must give credit to the bajillion people that have them on etsy.
I know I should be ashamed, but this is what my craft room looks like after my projects.
I need to figure out a way to organize this so it doesn't look like a tornado hit every time I work on a project. I swear, I just make a card or wrap a present (or embroider and iron-on and sew some onesies or make 10 aprons) or whatever and all of the sudden it is an insane mess. Hopefully this is a "before" picture. It is insane. The Oprah crew would be ashamed. Don't tell them about me. They would make me throw stuff away. I can't. I love my stuff. I love my ribbons. I love them so much that I even think they love me back.
Cyd-o-nee, he is beautiful. You are beautiful. I hope he like birds.

It's official - open an etsy shop! Also, the new Farmer is quite handsome.
Yes, Etsy is calling your name! I heart your craft room in any condition. I have a craft cupboard that needs to be locked only to get it shut. Oh to have a room.....
You are so darn talented girl! I love these. The birds are especially calling to me. And, now I must go work on not coveting your awesome craft room.
Wow, you are amazing Christina!!! Seriously!!!
I love, love, love the bird/owl onesies! I am sort of obsessed with bird prints lately. Everything is so darling Christina!
But if I opened an Etsy shop and I was not in one of my making stuff moods, someone would order something, they would get an e-mail that said something like, "Sorry, I know you paid for it, but I just don't feel like making anything right now." I don't think they would like that. Maybe one day...T, you, however, are a genius with that yarn...
What a beautiful baby! I love the gift you made him.
You are amazing! Those onesies are so cute. And just so you know, I think your craft room looks very exciting. I think I could spend 20-30 minutes just looking at all the fun stuff in there! If Oprah comes and makes you throw your stuff away, give it to me!
Drawer? Is that like an artist? Just Joking. I also am super envious of your crafting abilities. I blame my non-skills on the fact that I am a second-generation Mormon, but I think you are too, so...crap.
We still adore the baby gift you gave us years ago. . . you. are. amazing.
I'm drooling over your craft room. And I'm in love with your ribbon too -
And wow! Karl! I never knew. . .
those turned out great.
I love the photo of your craft room it just looks like my studio except I don't have ribbons. I wish I had ribbons, they are very pretty. I HATE pretty, clean, studios. That means no one works in there. (At least I tell myself that.)
I'm always in awe of your crafty abilities. I wish I was good at coming up with my own stuff, instead of semi good at copying! LOVE the onesies, they are way too cute. And I'm so jealous of your craft room!! I want, I want, I want. I have dreams of having my own space for my craft stuff. It looks pretty organized to me!
