Today was Eva's field trip to the zoo. Eva wanted me there and from what I hear about kids growing up, I thought I should take advantage of that. Here is her group.
Every year we take a picture on this elephant thing.
After Eva's class left we headed over to the playground where Samuel and Eva showed me, once again, just how different they are:

Samuel put his head on Eva's shoulder. Then she moved away and he kept his head in that position. For a really long time. I didn't realize until I downloaded the pictures.
From the second we enter the gates of the zoo, the kids ask if we can ride the train. Though there were better photos of this, this is the only one where Eva is sticking her tongue through her missing tooth hole.
Half a second after we got off the train, they say, "Can we go on the carousel?" I am a pushover. Finally, icecream.
Eva: Riding the train.
Samuel: Uh, eating the ice cream.
Sorry, animals.

Angela and I took Jaxton and Gabby to the zoo on Wednesday! Sorry we didn't see you. It was perfect weather, but the animals were in hiding.
What kind of camera do you have? You take AMAZING pictures.
i agree, the photo taking skills are getting really great.
I miss Hogle zoo! Looks like you guys had a lot of fun. I love what their favorite parts were!
I love it. Kitty's favorite part of the zoo is the carousel too. That is awesome you were able to go with all of the kids. I imagine it was a bit exhausting but hilarious. We can't wait for you guys to come to see us! Kitty is thrilled her cousins are coming to play. I bought a bubble machine yesterday for the kids, hipefully it won't be broken by the time you get here.
I can safely say that "this place is a zoo" and I wouldn't be talking about the zoo but my house. I hope you don't mind a giant mess!
PS that train pic is to die for!
Ha ha . . sorry animals. . .
Sounds like my kids at the zoo.
Oh, and did I mention that I love. love. love. your pictures? I do.
You are an amazing blogger. I get a kick out of your perspective. Great photos. They have lots of fun adventures. Grandma
This may be a dumb question but do your kids and Kristys go to the same school? Kristy just did a field trip to the zoo with Meg this week.
Way cute pictures. Your kids are so cute.
That last thing about their favorite parts of the aoo iss really funny. I asked Jaxton the same thing the other day when he got back from the zoo and he said riding the train. Also, I couldn't get him to tell me anything about the animals. Huh???
Oops, sorry about my typos. I guess I need to proof read before I publish. I meant the zoo, not the aoo.
