Feel Free to Wish Me a Happy Birthday Today

Nothing fancy, really, a simple comment will do.
More times than not, I forget peoples' birthdays. Sometimes I wish I just had a little reminder...

On a scale of 1 to 10:
How much I love hearing from friends and family: 10
How much I love being reminded of something we experienced together: 10
How embarrassed I am for this shameless post: 4
See? Totally worth it.
Okay, maybe my embarrassed level is more like: 7
But still worth it.

Post Birthday:
Thank you so much for the birthday wishes.  I loved each and every one of them.  I had an awesome birthday.

YAY - I'm the first to wish you a Happy B-day - 26 is going to be the best year of your life. This post is not shameless - I encourage such things. It's going to be your best year yet. I have a feeling about such things. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Let me be the second one to wish you a happy birthday. We sent a package yesterday. Hope it gets there today. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!

Happy birthday Christina! I'm sure since it's your birthday, your kids will be perfect, your house will be magically clean, and you will be waited on hand and foot all day long! Sounds nice, anyway. :)

I have been thinking I need to call you. I have a favor to ask you--a fun one, though. I'll call you soon!

Well, for starters, I thought you were magically incapsulated to preserve you as the 18-20 year old that I knew you best. So so cool, that when I share my most favorite pre-wedded travel stories that you are right smack in the middle of all of them. Happy Happy shameless Birthday!

1. Hearing from friends and family:

Happy Birthday Christina!! I'm so glad you were born and moved to Chicago, so I could meet you.

2. Being reminded of something we experienced together:

Remember cold Chicago nights and dinner group with the not-so-good dinners we received from one of the girls (we won't mention her name) but it was still fun because we got yummy food from you (my favorite was mexican chicken corn chowder--and I still make it by-the-way thank you very much!)

I hope you have the best day EVER!

Happy Birthday Christina!!
Of course my favorite memory, Playing Settlers. Now that we have an army of children, it's next to impossible to get together and it makes me sad :( We have to figure something out!!!

Happy Happy Birthday! If you had a party with aprons and pinatas, I would totally come and make you a heart pizza (or underpants pizza, whichever you prefer!!). Have a great day!

Happy Birthday to you! Oh and I hope it wasn't me that made the not so good dinners , but it could have been. If it was I am sorry. Although I don't remember doing dinner group with Michelle so maybe it wasn't. Anyway hope you have a great day!

Well, Happy Birthday to You!!! Here are a few memories that come to my mind -- you and Courtney double fisting Lion bars in Russia . . . Going to dinner at P.F. Chang's and visiting outside afterwards while your hot hubby stood behind you with his arms around you (you are a hot couple!) . . . and, visiting your home in the midst of the awesome remodel frenzy, seeing the "ribbon room" and I will never forget the amazing soup you made for us from the Favorites cookbook. You rock Christina! You deserve to have a happy day.

Happy birthday! I think I have known you since 7th grade so I have tons of memories of you. Mostly I remember your cute laugh - I can still hear it.

Nikki, I believe you never made hot dogs (and nothing else) for dinner group right? Then breath easy, because it wasn't you.

Happy Birthday! Hope it was a great one! And that you were spoiled rotten!! Thanks for befriending me in Chicago.... Teaching me how to embroider, feeding me good food, and making me feel comfortable in a HUGE, kinda scary 1st place to move to from UT, by showing me where to shop, fun parks near by etc. I always remember your smiling face, fun laugh, great attitude and extreme kindness! Love ya

I'm glad you told us. Don't you feel dumb when you find out it was someone's B-Day that you care about. You're awesome for helping us all out. I wish I had more memories with you then "dancing" around a tree. The truth is that I love you and I think you are an incredible mom and person and I'd like to get to know you better. But seriously, when we do get to sit and talk one or two times a year, I enjoy your company very much. Happy Birthday!

Fhew! No I never made hot dogs! I will rest easy now.

You are so funny Christina. :) I hope you had a wonderful, happy birthday (I'm totally late). Your blog always makes me smile, I love it!

You are absolutely the better friend. Had I got online yesterday, I would have posted on time. No doubt. Happy Birthday yesterday- love, love, love, love you. I am so glad you were born. I am so glad we happened to be in the same high school. To narrow down to just one memory would not be justice (please see your post from 2/5/09). We are each other. Love to you.
