So Samuel

"Mom, look! I made my name!"
Can you see it? S A M, in Lincoln Logs. I love it.
If I feel a cold draft in the house, my instinct is to check and see if you have gone out the back door and left the door open. I am usually right.
Conventional: a word we will never use to describe you. Gloves on your feet, socks on your hands, shorts on your head (of course, we are trying to get out the door and I am begging you to hurry)...
Rollerblading (with mom's old blades from the 90's) in the house. To make myself feel like a better mom, I make you get a helmet. Yeah, Samuel, that looks really safe.
The next morning, you ate breakfast like this. You look kind of, um, special.
Speaking of breakfast... you like your milk on the side.
You say these are your Power Ranger sunglasses. You also say that your Power Ranger sunglasses help you sleep better.

Even when you don't mean to, like when you are sleeping, you keep things exciting by doing things like sleeping with your feet at the head of the bed and kicking the pillow off.

Since you don't do anything the conventional way, even when you sleep, we could not tell if you were on the floor on purpose, so we just left you there.

(T, if you are reading this, be sure to show Ross the sheets. "Santa" aka Karl's sister got them for Karl, uh, I mean, Samuel. Though many have fond memories of these classics, only those with toddler boys can justify owning them.)

Hehehe... what a cute little boy! Lydia likes her milk on the side too... that's sooo funny.
BTW, I still have my roller blades from the 90's also. Good times.

Karl is right. He and Ryan had those sheets until they wore out. I was always on a budget. I guess it is good they weren't cookie monster or Barney sheets. Grandma

love that kid. He is so related to Kitty I can't stand it. They are like twins sometimes.
