number: three

Due date: so far away.  It is officially 11/4 but my babies like early out.
Years since I have changed my own kid's diaper: 2
Eva's reaction: So excited that she kept telling her cousin over and over and over how excited she was
Samuel's reaction:  Says, "It's cute but I am still allergic to babies."
How I feel: Sleepy all the time (except from 10 pm to 3 am) and a little nauseous.
Cravings: Salty, crunchy, spicy, fresh.  Japanese food saves me.  At this very second I want Greek.
Am I showing?:  Let's just say I've looked about 4 1/2 months pregnant all winter.
The difference between this pregnancy and the last two:  We have a house.  I am not teaching 33 third graders.  I don't have a toddler.  Karl is no longer a full time student and works from home.  Things are not quite so chaotic (and poor!).  That means I can sleep when I need to, eat when I need to.  Makes a HUGE difference for me.  I am trying to enjoy this time around and things are so much better.

First, that is seriously the best ultrasound picture ever. Really. Your baby is already photogenic.

Second, I love Samuel's reaction! Haha... And Eva's too for that matter.

Third, I'm really glad that you're feeling good. I always feel so sorry for people who have really hard pregnancies. Especially since my only experience involved no nausea or problems.

Fourth, We are seriously so, so excited for you guys! When we talked last time I was there, I had no idea it would be so soon!! I love it!!

Pahhhlease...you'll have to be delivering before you even look pregnant. That is yet another reason why I adore ya. Congrats, yet again.

We are pretty excited about number three. He or she will be close to baby's age. Hooray for cousins!!!!! Now if we could see each other more than twice a year. :(.

You are so smart to focus on the positives and enjoy the pregnancy. I had that outlook and somehow forgot it since my body has stretched to look like a circus act. Thanks for the reminder. I will just avoid a mirror for a few more weeks and think happy thoughts.
Miss you loads.

I already saw your pic on FB but congrats again! Good to hear this pregnancy isn't too awful. Three is a good number. And I have to say, I think out of all my babies I enjoyed the third one the most. I think I wasn't quite so uptight and could just enjoy her.

Oh. My. Gosh!!! I thought you were done at two (after that note you wrote to yourself and all). I can't believe it!!! Congrats! Wow, Christina. I hope three is the total "gift to the mommy" for you. You know, like the things you already pointed out about how this pregnancy is different. Then, the baby gets here and you aren't so stressed out like you were with the first two. You deserve to enjoy. And, this will be the best dressed infant ever! Can't wait!!!
