-I just made these little bows and flower clips for Emma, the new baby girl of my in laws. I attached a ring (I just had it in my stuff, yet another reason I love being a saver) to the top of a long pink ribbon and put all the clips on it. I also made 2 nylon and 2 lace headbands so the peach fuzz for hair-ed baby has a place to wear the clips.
-Thanks to the help of Your Heart Out I found this cute little fabric store called Whimsy Cottage. I have been to the Great Harvest right by it countless times and never noticed it. I am (kind of unsuccessfully) trying not to buy stuff for new projects until I use what I have (which will be never) but I did feel justified in getting this cute ribbon since we always have hair to do, presents to wrap, cards to embellish... My favorite was the way she tied it up in tiny fabric scraps. Cheap thrills, I know.
-I just found this circle cutter at Michael's Craft Store. It was 12 something with a 30% off coupon. It will cut a circle from 1 inch to 5 inches. It replaces all the lame punches that I spent money on. It takes up hardly any room and is so fast. I love it. Even Karl was kind of impressed (as opposed his usual eyebrow raise that means, "I so don't understand why you just bought that."). I used it to wrap some gifts and it made them seem so fancy.
