These guys posted their "Coming Soon!" signs months in advance and so I was excited when they finally opened. I love having little "Mom and Pop" shops nearby.
See Samuel eating some Italian banana chocolate candy thing... with no shirt? I stopped by to grab some take out on the way to the pool. Samuel and Eva were running around the place making their usual noise and the cashier bribed them to be quiet with a candy. I thought it was great. I love nice people like that.
I wasn't sure what to order so I just kind of guessed. Turkey sandwich for the kids and I got an avocado salad. I asked if it was big enough to be a meal and they said it was. I should have specified that eating a lot is one of my favorite hobbies. My "salad" was a huge beautiful avocado cut in half and filled with bruschetta type topping stuff. It was so flavorful and delicious. It also came with this cute, tasty, little roll.
Me being me, I tried it again the next week... shirts on, dine in. The waitress brought out coloring stuff for the kids and I really appreciated that. I ordered a shrimp and chicken special. It was so good, I wanted more. I think they forgot to give me the roll which would have came in handy when I wanted to eat every last bit of sauce. The kids spaghetti and meatballs was also flavorful and tasty.
I guess the owner is the brother or something of the owners of Primo next to it. I haven't been to Primo but Paula, my fellow food adventurer, raves about it.
I have already been twice, and I will probably go again. Yum, writing this makes me want to go tomorrow.
