Womens Conference

Somehow we all managed to get the whole day Friday "off" from our jobs and take a "business trip" down to the BYU Women's Conference. Now, this is a worthy cause for babysitting in my mind.

It was so good to get a refresher course on the important things in life. Thomas S. Monson reminded me that I need to enjoy the journey.

I packed a salad for each of us because Kristi (the pro and our personal guide for the whole day) let us know the lines were insane. I posted the recipe for the Quinoa salad on my new CYI blog.

One fabulous person (I will let you remain anonymous as long as no one knows how to match your jeans to your face) loved the whole experience so much that she um... sat on a melted chocolate covered pretzel.

Lucky-I wish conference was a few cities away from me. That's cool you were able to go with friends. That picture is funny and I really thought it was you know what until I read the explanation. (probably b/c I'm a mom who has kids that do you know what).

I love that T knows who done it. You are "spot" on (ps- we missed you). Pook- you are a dream- a blog post already! I am so impressed- I keep thinking about the day and feel happy inside.

Looks like a good time. My in-laws go ever year and love it. How fun that you could all go together. You will have to share all you have learned for those of us who were not able to attend!

I think that is so great that you all are still so close! What fabulous gals! I didn't know anybody else ate quinoi (sp?). My good friend (a personal trainer) said it's the best source of all of the "good" things but every time I make it the kids complain that mom is cooking "healthy" again. I am excited to try your recipe! You will have to send me your new blog address. Is it going to focus on recipes?

"no one knows how to match your jeans to your face"

Really? It took me all of 5 seconds to match the color of the jeans in the picture with the jeans worn by the Whipple Heating girl.

You attorneys just have to get to the "bottom" of everything, don't you?
