kiddie kandids

Though I love Eva so much and think she is adorable. I think this is the last time we went to Kiddie Kandids. Really, there is nothing candid about these.

But, still, glad we have these pictures anyway.

a little bit of february

Samuel and Eva took little tumbling class with Sara. When they weren't running around or slithering around on the floor, you were having a blast.
Whenever I tell the kids that we are going to Wheeler Farm, the kids ask if it is winter. It took me a while to figure out why but this is it.
In the winter the ducks are brutal. They are starving and they get really aggressive. The kids have been traumatized. This day, they gave up and left eating the bread themselves.
We tried it another day. The kids got smart and found a table to stand on. Samuel was really protective of his bread.
Another Chuck E Cheese trip. Followed with bright blue ice cream. Overindulgence at its best.
Here is another February day.
Sledding.
I loved the way the kids looked in their huge goggles.
And taking a break from the cold...
The Childrens Museum.

valentines. our style. 2008

This year we made little cookie bouquets and delivered them to friends.
Eva modeling her headband and her valentine box from preschool.
We celebrated this day with fondue.

And unrelated to Valentines day...
Samuel had a phase where he wore these blue goggles all the time. Found this photo and it cracked me up just remembering.

party on and on... eva is five

The second day of celebrations was at Little Gym.
Grandma Geddes and Grandma Gutke couldn't make it to the family party so they stopped by to shower you with gifts.

These are the cupcakes I made for your party. Chocolate cake with pink frosting and silver candies. So you at that time.
They welcomed yo with a sign and balloons.

I made little purses for all the little girls with candy jewelry and a wand. Again, so you at the time.

You got to sit on a big throne to open presents. As a true princess should.
Final day of celebrations. We had dinner at our house.
You got this cute picnic set.
So glad you have been ours for five years.
